Dr. Stephen Cave
Founder of the practice, Dr. Stephen L. Cave grew up in Dubois, Indiana and graduated from Dubois High School in 1970. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington majoring in Biology and earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1974. In 1978, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. During his time at IUSD he spent long hours in research labs testing and developing therapies currently used today in the profession.
After graduation, it was important to him to travel back home to southern Indiana and begin a practice with the mission to provide high-quality care for entire families. He opened his practice in French Lick in 1978 and has been practicing locally his entire career. As a cutting edge dental professional, he has always stayed up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for his patients. He has an extensive continuing education training resume and forty plus years experience. This combination is a great recipe for success during dental treatment and limits the need for visits to specialists offices. Many complicated surgical procedures can be performed in our office with no need to travel. Dr. Cave has always tried to provide all services locally to make dental treatment more accessible to everyone.
